Isopropyl Acetate, General specification
Isopropyl acetate is a colorless liquid with a specific odor similar to that of fruit. It is an organic compound that is the product of acetic acid and isopropanol. Molecular formula of Isopropyl Acetate is C5H10O2. Isopropyl Acetate is stable at normal temperatures and pressures and is incompatible with alkali metal hydroxides such as sodium hydroxide, nitric acid and strong oxidants. Isopropyl acetate is produced by a high purity reaction reaction between acetic acid and isopropanol. Of course, since this reaction consumes a lot of energy, a different heat distillation process is proposed to reduce costs and save energy.
Isopropyl acetate, Applications
Isopropyl acetate is used as a solvent and extractor for cellulose, plastic, oil and fat derivatives and Isopropyl acetate is widely used in pharmaceuticals, agriculture, coatings, inks and other industries. Isopropyl acetate is an active solvent for many types of synthetic resins such as cellulose acetate butyrate, nitrocellulose, vinyl copolymers, polyester, polyamide, acrylic and alkyd, and in nitrocellulose, resin, plastic, paint, varnish, ink, organic synthesis and fragrances. Isopropyl acetate has excellent solubility. Isopropyl acetate is used in food industry to produce common flavors and aromas on fruits as an essential oil. Isopropyl acetate is also a disinfectant commonly used in industry.
Isopropyl acetate, Packing
Isopropyl Acetate is packing in drums (New steel drum or PE drum) and offering to customers.
Isopropyl acetate, Export destinations
Isopropyl acetate is forwarding to customers which are using this product as a solvent and extractor for cellulose, plastic, oil and fat derivatives and using Isopropyl acetate in pharmaceuticals, agriculture, coatings, inks and other industries to some countries such as CIS, Europe, middle east, East Asian, Turkey, Pakistan.
