Project Description

Lime | Iran Lime

The main constituent of limestone is calcite and its formula is CaCO3. The lime  slag used in the industry should have at least 90% calcium carbonate. Limestone is often found with clay lime, sandy lime and dolomite and is rarely found purely. Its major impurities include magnesium, silica, aluminum, and manganese. Limestone has crystalline, clastic, granular or massive forms depending on how they are formed in nature. The presence of calcite, quartz, dolomite or barite crystals may create small cavities in limestone. By cooking limestone in a furnace with a temperature above 1000 ° C, Calcined lime is obtained. Also, if calcine lime  mix with the water, it will be converted to Hydrated lime.
