Oxidized Bitumen 85/25 is a semi-solid oxidized grade of pure petroleum bitumen that is classified into polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and is commonly used for various purposes in construction work. It is based on petroleum bitumen, which is made by blowing 60/70 bitumen with very hot air. This product, which is used in the industrial sector, has “solid” properties, mainly at ambient temperature, and provides excellent adhesive and waterproof quality when using hot and cold oxidized bitumen.

Oxidized bitumen 85/25 applications

Oxidized bitumen 85/25 is used in chemicals, fuels, paints, varnishes, lacquers, paper, paper pulp, textile processing, road construction, paving, braking and repair work, civil works, roofing, construction industries. It use in Producing sealing and insulation of buildings, adhesives, construction additives, dust binder, insulation and impregnation, rubber and plastic products. Using for paving.

It is also used in asphalt base paints to protect against corrosion of metals, in the lining of public works structures, adhesives in electrical sheets, and bases for artificial grass. Common applications are also used for waterproofing and corrosion resistance for pipe coating, Portland cement pavement, hydraulic applications, paint making, sealing, cork and moisture.
