Ferrosilicon
Ferrosilicon is one of the types of ferrous alloys containing 80-60% by weight of silicon. This alloy is the result of silicon recovery from silica stone or silica sand in a bed of steel. It is produced in excess of 50% in arc furnaces and in quantities less than 20% in tall furnaces. The percent silicon is typically 75%. Contains 2% aluminum and calcium impurities.
Ferrosilicon applications
It is used as a source of silicon in the corrosion and for the recovery of metals from its oxides and also to prevent oxidation of steel and steel alloys. It is also used to prevent corrosion and increase corrosion resistance. It is using in cast iron to increase the speed Carbide making.
Packing
Ferrosilicon, is offered in some different Lumps/Grain size (0-3 mm, 3-10 mm, 10-60mm, 25-75 mm). It is normally, packing in 1 ton Jumbo Bags.
Exporting destinations
Ferrosilicon, mostly offered by customers who are manufacturing steel and cast iron. So, we are exporting to African, European, East Asian countries. It is producing, packing and exporting to mention above destinations, under Iran Chemical Mine authorization by the best raw materials in accordance with ASTM standard.
