MEG (Monoethylene glycol)l is a clear, colorless liquid with a mild odor, a sweet taste, and a syrup-like consistency. Itis miscible with water and aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons. MEG is the solvent of many oils, lignin, gum, cellulose acetate, alcohol-soluble dyes, synthetic resins, nitre, cellulose, etc. The range of application of  (monoethylene glycol) is very wide and includes everything from the textile industry to the packaging of kitchen utensils, engine cooling and antifreeze

MEG Application

MEG (Monoethylene glycol) application is in Polyester. The Polyester grade is used in the production of polyester fibers and polyethylene terephthalate resin, It is used in the production of products such as textiles, cables, video tapes, and water and beverage bottles. The solubility of this material for cellulose esters increases by adding ketones or halogenated hydrocarbons. MEG is used in the cosmetics industry as a perfume stabilizer and also as a solvent for odorless varnishes. The hydrophilic property, makes it ideal for use in the purification of fibers, paper, glue, leather, printing ink and cellophane. The Industrial uses in evaporation and centrifuge systems are the core of purification processes. Dehydration and removal of unwanted solids by (monoethylene glycol) makes the purification process ideal enough to protect pipelines from freezing and corrosion. To ensure transportation inside pipes, (monoethylene glycol) is added to natural gas before transportation along with other materials. It is using in Antifreeze, it is used in antifreeze. Engine coolant.

MEG Packing

MEG packed in new steel or polyethylene drums, normally. However, it is supplying in bulk, as well. It is a flammable, volatile and categorized as DG. So, It should be storage in a cool, far from direct sunlight and other goods, separately.

Export destinations

MEG is forwarding to customers which are using this product in antifreeze, Resins, textile, cable, oil and gas projects and using in paper and glue industries to some countries such as CIS, Europe, middle east, East Asian, Turkey, Pakistan.
