Caustic Soda Flake (NaOH)  should be stored at optimum conditions. First and foremost, it is very important to store Caustic Soda Flake or sodium hydroxide in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from any combustible or reactive materials. A dedicated chemical storage cabinet or room is ideal for this purpose. This reduces the risk of absorbing moisture and other chemicals. Containers should be clearly labeled indicating the contents, hazard warnings and any special precautions. For longer shelf life of Caustic Soda Flake, it is recommended to avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. High temperature can lead to decomposition of this compound.
