TEG or Triethylene glycol using in Oil and Gas industries to dehydrate natural gas as well as CO2, H2S and other oxygenated gases. This process prevents pipeline damage and freezing. Dewatering of natural gas accounts for more than half of the consumption of TEG.

TEG using in Cosmetic  and household Products

TEG using in Cosmetic Products such as conditioners and shampoo. TEG used in Household and industrial cleaners due to Having natural antimicrobial properties, as well as low odor and toxicity, makes this product a suitable candidate for use in air disinfectants and other household products. TEG is effective against microbes and other pathogens that are transmitted through air, solutions and surfaces.

TEG  in the textile and PVC industries

TEG or Triethylene glycol is used as a dye in the textile industry. TEG is a common plasticizer that improves the flexibility of vinyl polymers. Because this product is colorless and has low volatility, TEG used in flooring, automotive safety glass, and commercial and office windows.

TEG in solvent and resins

TEG is used in the production of many industrial and commercial products such as solvents, adhesives, lubricants, polyurethane foams, emulsifiers and thermoplastics. TEG is also used as a reactant in the production of polyester resins, which is used in the production of various textile materials, packaging, car bodies and electrical items. TEG is a very good solvent and is used in various fields such as detergents, printing ink, ink solvent, steam set printing ink, unsaturated polyester resins, plasticizer and separation of aromatic hydrocarbons.

TEG in antifreeze products

TEG or Triethylene glycol is also used in the production of some products such as antifreeze, automobile products, construction equipment, leather products, fuel, lubricants and grease, and plastic products. The moisturizing property of TEG is the reason for the great use of this product in the preparation of fibers, paper, glue, printing ink, leather and cellophane.
